Ammar's Corner, Corner of the Palestinian Child January–December 2020

Ammar’s Corner, Corner of the Palestinian Child at Exhibition Hall is a space dedicated by Yasser Arafat Museum to the children of Palestine.  The purpose of the exhibition is to enhance their knowledge of the Palestinian narrative through Abu Ammar’s journey in its different phases in a simple and enjoyable presentation. Interactive technology, including virtual reality headsets and access to the augmented reality application on smartphones are featured.
Children have always been a particular priority for the Museum, with special attention given to arrangements during their visits to the Museum, including storytelling performances and films at Al-Muntada Hall and presenting the exhibits in a brief and simplified manner by the tour guides.  Yasser Arafat Foundation also organizes the National Knowledge Competition for tenth-grade students based on the Museum’s material.
Ammar’s Corner will remain on display for one year; some of its components will later be used in various ways.  This represents a change to the Museum’s general policy regarding the semi-annual special exhibitions in Exhibition Hall, but the importance of this age group justifies such an adjustment.  Our children are our future.
