Visiting Hours
Visiting hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 10:00 to17:00
(winter). The Museum is closed Mondays and Friday for maintenance, cleaning and administrative operations.
Schools and other groups are kindly requested to reserve in advance with the Museum’s management to arrange guided tours by clicking on the “Group Visits” tab, or by calling: 02-2967770.
Visitors’ Contribution
The staff of the Museum staff believe it is important for visitors to offer a symbolic contribution, for themselves, as well as to help defray operational costs. Suggested contribution:

Services
Cloakroom Bags and outer garments can be checked with the security staff in the Cloakroom, located at the entrance to the Yasser Arafat Memorial. |

The Exhibition Hall is on the first floor of the Museum and showcases rotating special exhibits featuring Palestinian, Arab and international artists, which are kept on display for six months. Visitors may access the Exhibition Hall at the end of their tour via the staircase or elevator to the first floor to visit the Exhibition Hall. |
To prepare for guided tours of the Museum. Brochures of the Museum and audio guides of the video presentations in Arabic and English can be obtained at the information desk for a symbolic contribution. |
The Resource Center includes an electronic archive and a small library for the use of visitors interested in learning more about the history of the Palestinian journey as well as other important data. |
A number of memorial items that symbolize Yasser Arafat and the Palestinian National Movement in the context of the Museum's exhibitions have been produced, as mementos and for posterity, and are available for purchase in the Gift Shop. Many of the items have been manufactured locally using natural materials. |
Cafeteria Visitors can relax and enjoy a light meal or refreshment in the cafeteria adjacent to the Museum. |
In Al-Muntada Hall (with a seating capacity for approximately 100), the Museum will present lectures, seminars, video presentations and children’s storytelling activities. |

Ease of Accesss An elevator has been installed and the interior of the Museum, including the ramps, siege floor, and amenities, has been designed to be accessible to people with special needs. |
General Instructions
Mobiles Cellular phones must be put on silent and cannot be used for placing calls during the Museum tour to prevent technical interference and inconvenience to other visitors. Smartphones can be used to download the Yasser Arafat App to access additional information embedded in the exhibits. |
Smoking The entire area of the Yasser Arafat Memorial, including the Museum, is smoke-free (except at the Cafeteria). |
Group Visits Group and school visits will be conducted with a Museum guide. We kindly ask that visits be scheduled in advance with the administration of the Museum, either through the website by clicking on "Group Visits" or by calling +970-02-2967770. |
Photography Photography is permitted with the flash turned off, to prevent damage to the displayed items. |
Food and Beverages Food and beverages are prohibited in the entire area of Yasser Arafat Memorial, including the Mosque, Mausoleum, Museum, and gardens (except in the cafeteria). |
