The Yasser Arafat Foundation has concluded a two-week cultural program at the Yasser Arafat Museum, bringing together approximately 700 Palestinian children aged 8 to 14 from communities across the West Bank.

Designed to strengthen national awareness, cultural identity, and a sense of belonging, the program introduced participants to Palestinian history and the life and legacy of founding president Yasser Arafat through educational and cultural activities. The children toured the museum and explored its historical exhibits before attending a screening of “The Story of Yasser” in the Al-Muntada Hall.

The initiative was held as an alternative to the Foundation’s traditional Yasser Arafat Summer Camps, which could not be organized for the third consecutive year amid ongoing Israeli occupation incursions, movement restrictions, and the genocide in Gaza. The program was implemented in partnership with a range of schools, community organizations, cultural centers, and children’s associations from across the West Bank.
