Tulia Ackson, Speaker of Tanzania's Parliament, President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), and her delegation laid a wreath at the tomb of late President Yasser Arafat in Ramallah on 11/27/2023.

Ackson and her delegation were welcomed by Eng. Musa Hadid, Vice President of the Palestinian National Council, a Board of Directors member, Dr. Ahmed Soboh, Director General of the Yasser Arafat Foundation, and Muhammad Halayqa, Director of the Yasser Arafat Museum.

Ackson was briefed on the history and construction of the Yasser Arafat mausoleum and museum, which chronicles significant events and developments in the Palestinian cause over the past century.
