The 6th Palestine Forum for the Arabic Novel began on July 10, 2023, in Al-Muntada Hall at the Yasser Arafat Museum. Dr. Ahmed Soboh, Director General of the Yasser Arafat Foundation, emphasized the event's significance in maintaining the Palestinian and Arab narratives. Dr. Atef Abu Seif, Minister of Culture, congratulated the Yasser Arafat Museum for hosting the conference.

Poet Yahya Yakhlef, winner of the Ghassan Kanafani Shield for Arabic novels, was named the Palestine Forum's personality for 2023 by Abdel Salam Al-Atari, Director General of Literature, Publishing, and Libraries at the Ministry of Culture. The event attracted participants from Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Yemen, Oman, Chad, and Jordan, as well as 14 Palestinian writers from the West Bank, Gaza, and occupied territories.
