Curated under the supervision of Yasser Arafat Foundation, The Siege was launched 11 November 2008, the fourth anniversary of the passing of late President Yasser Arafat.  One hundred and fifty (150) full-color photographs narrate the story of the more than three-year [Israeli] siege on Yasser Arafat at his headquarters in Ramallah, his departure to France to receive treatment and his return as a martyr to where he endured the siege. 
This publication is significant for its pictorial documentation of the final steadfast years of Yasser Arafat that should remain in our collective and personal memories.
