The belongings of Yasser Arafat in Al-Muqata’a have been preserved and many have been gathered from other locations.  Efforts are ongoing to retrieve Arafat’s belongings that remained in 2007, at Al-Muntada, his headquarters in Gaza.

Over the years, the Yasser Arafat Foundation has also been collecting and archiving items, documents, photographs, video and audio materials related to Arafat and his work.  Some of the materials are displayed in the Museum; others are accessible to the public in the Research Center.  Due to the complications and unique circumstances of the Palestinian reality, the process of collecting and archiving remains ongoing.
